We are the united political voice of SEIU union members across the states of Missouri and Kansas. From three different local unions, we're over 14,000 strong and proud to be part of the largest and fastest growing union in the Change to Win Coalition. The Service Employees International Union has over 1.9 million members nationwide.

What We Do
We organize People Power into Political Power. Working with members of SEIU local unions across Missouri and Kansas, we coordinate local, state-wide, and national political action.
We represent workers in healthcare, the public sector, and building services. Thus, we work in a wide variety of occupations to help make Missouri a safe and healthy place to live, work and raise our families.
The Missouri / Kansas State Council is responsible for developing and implementing SEIU's legislative agenda and political program in the states of Missouri and Kansas. The State Council is organized in order to provide for the mutual aid and protection of local unions chartered by the Service Employees International Union, CTW.
Our mission is to unite the Missouri and Kansas membership to speak with one voice to elected officials, whether at the local, state or federal levels, and to pool the resources and leverage of the entire membership to bargain better contracts and to bring the benefits of SEIU membership home to the workers
